This ICT Policy document shall be reviewed by Samburu County Treasury Management and approved by the Samburu ICT Board. The effective date shall be from the date of approval. Introduction The ICT department is a department within the Samburu county treasury under the ministry of the Finance. In order to execute its mandate, the ICT services for enhanced efficiency. In provision of such services, the department commits to ensure that adequate resources are provided to implement a reliable and appropriate IT infrastructure. It is imperative thus that acquisition and usage of such facilities requires to be governed by an organization wide ICT policy. To address this need, the ICT has developed this ICT policy in line with the existing County Government policies, legal and regulatory framework.
